《艺途》制作目的包括：
- 以娱乐性节目，介绍旅美华人艺术家及其代表作品
- 推广艺术欣赏，并宣传艺术文化对社会的重要
- 透过艺术家的心路历程，启发思考，鼓励创作
- 为有兴趣投身艺术的下一代，提供职业生涯的参考借镜
- 加入社区互动元素，让观众能够参与相关艺术活动
为此《艺途》除了纪录影片制作外，整个项目透过不同媒体和活动，全面与公众互动，包括在全美多个城市的新闻发布会、作品展出、座谈会、工作坊、慈善拍卖。
“Routes” is more than just a documentary. It includes various multiplatform activities, including opportunities to interact with artists. In the past, we had press conferences, exhibitions, forums, workshops and charity auctions in various U.S. cities.
The goals of the 360-degree program of “Routes” can be summarized in 6Es:
